Increases ability to support aquaculture customers across the Nordic region
BOSTON – Innovasea, a global leader in technologically advanced aquatic solutions for aquaculture and fish tracking, announced today that its Norway office is officially changing its name from Innovasjø Akvakultur to Innovasea, having secured the commercial rights to that name.
“We are delighted to align our Norway office with our global brand and increase our staffing there, which enhances our capacity to serve the expanding aquaculture industry in the Nordic region,” said Innovasea CEO David Kelly. Innovasea opened its Innovasjø Akvakultur office in Bergen, Norway in 2019 to provide solutions for the Nordic aquaculture industry.
“Collectively, our Norwegian team has many decades of experience as scientists and fish farmers who understand every aspect of the aquaculture industry,” said Rudi Seim, Managing Director of the Norway Innovasea office. “We have an outstanding track record in designing and implementing tailored solutions that boost fish production, lessen environmental impacts, improve regulatory compliance, streamline operations and increase profitability,” added Seim.
For more than 30 years, Innovasea has been providing precision aquaculture tools and professional services around the world to support ocean and land-based aquaculture. Innovasea’s aquaculture solutions include aquaControl, a fully automated aeration and oxygenation system that controls air and dissolved oxygen levels.
